The UCI support of the Chessbase GUI's is rather buggy and does not directly support this. This has been reported to Chessbase both by us and other customers. In the mean time a workaround can be found here: http://sjeng.org/ds/cb.html

You only need DeepSjeng.exe which can be found under the ..enginesDeepSjeng1.0 directory.
