&lt;P>Pro Deo 1.1 Vulcan {9k17pr}&lt;/P>
&lt;P>This is a further development of the Vulcan personality for Ed Schröders Pro Deo, successor to the famous Rebel line. The focus in developing this personality lately has been more on reducing extensions in the hope of getting deeper plydepths. As a consequence it may not see some combinations at shallower depths but hopefully this is compensated by getting deeper and also occasionally playing better positionally because of getting deeper. The effect of blocking extensions is more clearly seen at long analysis, to be honest the personality has not yet been tested in games, mainly difficult testpositions. I am now trying to make a personality that is a bit stronger in the endgame. Learning functions were switched off for testing purposes, but can be switched on again for playing games of course. Options containing a ? instead of = are switched off.&lt;/P>
